July happenings

Hello everyone!

Just wanted to send out a quick reminder about the new block party that will be starting this Saturday. Becky has created another beautiful quilt. This one also happens to be the largest block party quilt she has ever done, finishing 102 x 102 inches. Of course, you can set the blocks in whatever way will be best for you. There is still room if you have not yet signed up. $30.00 covers blocks and pattern as long as the blocks are completed on time. We will be offering several finishing kit options while fabrics are available.

Here is a sneak peak of the quilt. We snapped the photo just before Becky put it on the quilting machine.

As you can see, the quilt has a very traditional feel. Most of the fabrics are from the "Louisa" collection from Moda. The collection celebrates the life of Louisa May Alcott. During class sessions Becky plans to discuss quilting traditions from the 1800s.

We will be offering the regular Saturday morning sessions at 8:00, 8:30, 9:00 and 9:30 am. Get together with your friends and come enjoy some time out.

All panels will be 20% off on Saturday!

We still have space available for our $29.00 monthly mystery quilt on July 27th. We will be using Honey Buns from the "Alliance" collection by Moda.

This will be another quilt with a very traditional feel. Come join us.
