Just a note to let you know our new block party will begin February 4th. We will be taking a Pioneer Journey!

This is a quilt that Rebecca designed several years ago to commemorate the journey of the pioneers to Utah. Each block symbolizes a step taken to complete their arduous journey across the harsh dusty plains.

The quilt will be constructed with different fabrics than you see in the photo. However, the fabrics we have chosen will compliment the warm pioneer feel of the quilt.

For those who are interested in a smaller project, Becky is designing a wall hanging. We will try to send the photo as soon as it is done. It will be created with a fall theme in mind.

Both block parties will be every other Saturday beginning February 4th. You are welcome to sign up for either one or both. Pioneer Journey will be a $30.00 sign up fee and $5.00 per session. (Twelve sessions are planned.) Those who complete the sessions will receive fabric to bind the quilt. The wall hanging will be less - we should have more details in the next few days as the quilt is completed.

The fabrics pictured below will be used in our January mystery quilt. This will be held on Jan. 31.
